OSLO 001
Christian Burkhardt / incl. Federico Molinari rmx.
Kreiskollaps
Kreiskollaps is the track which starts the new oslo label, having proofed its ability to rock dancefloors nationwide.
Christian Burkhard presents a sclice of contemporary Minimalism, adding lush atmospheres and rounding it up with a deep
pumping bassline. Think that..s enough? Wait till you here Federico Molinari..s Remix, he is already showcased his
remixing skills on Raum...Musik and 8bit and takes the whole thing to another level. It is more than housy and hypnotic tip
but still maintains the whole context of the track and is sure as hell going to move your butt. Also Dressless by Christian
Burkhardt is more of a housy affair, groovy as hell complementing perfectly the ep.
OSLO 002
Johnny D / incl. Nekes rmx
Gualia
With Manipulation Johnny D creates an atmosphere of a special kind. a slowly growing track that grooves endlessly from beginning to end.
Gualia is much straighter, a pushing tune with marching percussion und a rocking bassline. Since the last time remixed by Nekes follows
the path of those morning hours filled with happiness, which completes the second Olso release. Deep, jazzy house tasting like summer.
OSLO 003
Guillaume & The Cotou Dumonts
Paraiso 91.90.77
With Guillaume & the Coutu Dumont sends a runner of a very special class into the race.On the third release of the still young Oslo
Label he justifies his reputation with every bit, having released on labels like Hartchef and Mutek already.
It's a journey through the world of modern dance music, always craving for more.
With a special sensitivity he invites you to a shuffly trip, accompanied by blowers
setting the floor into a trance. 'Mederio' is sticky, groovy affair, reminding of tropical vastness. a very special interpretation
of house, with clever percussion, harmonic chimes and a warm subbass, creating intense extatic atmosphere.
Orce is in the same vein and closes this ep nicely....
OSLO 004
Federico Molinari / incl. Damian Schwartz rmx.
Enerverende
With the fourth release the still young and succesful label enters the race. This time
Co-Labelowner Federico Molinari, who already delivered a Remix (Kreiskollaps) on the first Oslo EP, showcases his skills.
'Enerverende' is dubby House tool, which slowly develops it's effect and finally as a Damian Schwartz Remix takes the hightime direction.
The last one is 'Takk Brett', which is being carried by cleverly composed vocalbits and percussive elements. It breaks the ground,
which Oslo is following since the beginning; modern house music.
OSLO 005
Mara Trax
...it got me funk.
Oslo continues to innovate and deliver the next generation of dance music.
This time they are presenting Mara Trax, alter ego of Vera Heindel & Maayan Nidam aka Miss Fitz. You may recognize Vera as Robert
Johnson's princess, or outside of Frankfurt as the DJ that converted a lot of dancing shoes into dust.
Maayan on the other hand, is known for her outstanding releases on raum...musik, Circus Company etc. as well as 'the small DJ that
plays big sets'.
The two share a passion for raw, old school house grooves which makes their futuristic production style so unique & deep.
The EP starts off with 'Funk Me', an irresistible groove bomb that takes you high using colorful yet tasteful layers of house chords & acid bass.
Moving on to 'Me Funk', you'll find the beautiful dubby version of the same composition, perfect for a morning-haze dj set as it keeps
a slow moving and hypnotic groove. On the flip side, the beautiful tenderness of what you heard is losing it's innocence and spices up
to an intelligent house track: Let Goose. It's a new breed of dance music that keeps the groove on while exploring new territories in
music & challenging them. Finally, The Rhythm. A track with a promising name that follows through, staying true to the Oslo sound of
sophisticated club bombs with a wink.

Johnny D.
Orbitalife
After making a statement with his Gualia EP, Johnny D continues his story of feel for groove and ecstatic party with his Orbitalife EP,
giving us another proof of his extraordinary talent.
Absolutely funky and without any compromises, that's 'Orbitalife'. Despite it's length, it never looses it's suspense. Or is the length that
makes it so exiting?
An earthquake that shakes every dancers body to the core. Intelligently set breaks and a percussion groove here and there takes the crowd
up to heaven, just to let them fall back on their feet for the next second. Pure explosion!
'Riddim mood' tells another percussive story. The longer you hear it, it creeps deeper and deeper into your mind and a gentle chord slowly
lifts you up from the ground.
Reflecting the theme of the EP, 'Tramodysee', an impulsive and hypnotic track, continues our journey into an ecstatic night towards the
late morning hours.
OSLO 007
The Per Eckbo Orchestra
400 Thousand miles from home
The Perc Eckbo Orchestra is a project of the Franco-Canadian talent Guillaume Coutu Dumont and the not less talented Argentinian Federico Molinari.
Their EP is a percussive journey, that once again clearly defines the labels standard: ultra modern quality house music. 'Beat Bravo' is carried by a deep
bassline and wraped into a timeless melody. The filigree play of various percussive elements makes the track reach
it's full maturity. With 'Kodo Verano' the orchestra follows the path
of special moments and extatic nights. A club orientated extravaganza.
OSLO 008
Nekes
Cristal / incl.Sascha Dive rmx
Nektarios Danias, alias Nekes, co-founder and co-carrier of Oslo Records, presents his first EP: 'Cristal'. The main track is a top class club tool.
With little, but tangible elements Nekes creates an extatic ambience with high explosion risk. The same can be said about the Sascha Dive Remix,
that once again reflects the huge talent of this young german house producer. Modernity combined with a classic touch and a big portion of deepness.
Waitin' carries on with this energy and takes it to the morning hours. A driving track, full of soul. All in all: reduced to the max. a crystal
clear matter: Olso, the eighth!!!

Christian Burkhardt
Contemporary box
What's the secret of making a dance floor explode? If you'd like to learn just open Christian Burkhardt's Contemporary Box and look what's inside:
At a first glance, it seems that it doesn't contain a lot, except for 3 dance tools.
But once on the turntable you may discover the whole secret of this release. What seems to be so simple is a complex construct of percussive elements
and basslines that are being arranged just in the right way.
'Contemporary box' finds it's peak without even having one, just by grooving on and on, monotonously, with jumping sticks and a pushing bassline.
'Maison Noir' moves a little more to the housier side and is being carried by warm chords as well as by effective percussions. Phey Boom brings in a
certain coolness and carries that great release home.
OSLO 010
Guillaume & The Coutu Dumonts
L..été des Indiens
Guillaume & the Coutu Dumonts is a studied percussionist and one of the hottest producers in the scene of modern house music.
With 'L'éte des Indiens' he delivers an interpretation of contemporary grooves, that are commited to the basic elements of quality music.
Focussing on that, the track Halleluyah Yeah takes you on a percussive journey being followed by the dance floor bomb 'Le Tigre' on the flip side.
Caution: explosion risk!
OSLO 011
Damian Schwartz
El malo
Damian is know for his contemporary interpretations of modern club music, and has had some very successful releases. He's an artists that
always suprises with new ideas and his own aesthetics in music. This EP contains two very deep techno tools with a very analogue feeling.
Both tracks are incredibly hypnotic and powerful. "Plastico" basically lives from its moving bassline - the rest is perfectly complementing granishment -
and 'barrunto' confuses with piano chords and southamercian vocal fragments, while the track itself stays loopy. All in all a dark EP that fits perfectly
to the dark winter clubbing season.
OSLO 012
Ray Okpara
Brothers EP
After his release on arearemote and drumpoet, ray okpara presents his debute on oslo recodrs.
'Brothers' a percussive journey based on repeted loopy sounds which flipps the dancefloor into extasy. An extra class tool, ending up getting to be a tru highlight.
The deep and incredible pushing melodic chords give "we keep" the special touch. Not to forget: the lovely round played bassline creates a uplifting atmospheric feeling.
Groove on!
'Snice' rounds out the EP more then enough to one inspiring piece of vinyl.
Be surprised...
OSLO 013
Guillaume & The Coutu Dumonts
The secret is in the pudding
Guillaume & the Coutu Dumonts, a very special artist, who is not only an electronic producer, brings us this time a record with two excellent house tracks.
On the a-side is 'Here we go... again' with a lot of percussions, reproduces a very warm summer vibe, fitting perfectly with the special moments.
On the b-side is 'Bade Bing'; a funky house track, which lives from the vocals and the bass line. Guillaume proves once again that his ep is a secret weapon
for this summer.
OSLO 014
Johnny D.
Point of no return
As 'Point of no return' is referred in different contexts the date from which a return to the starting point is no longer possible.
Johnny D's Oslo 014 confirms this with a truly musical climax. Johnny D presents after his hit 'Orbitalife' last year 'Point of no return'- a house track,
which again emphasise the special feeling of that producer to tremble the dance floor. Here're playful vocals and a sexy groove on the program. Also 'Gardness'
on the b-side is a title not to be sneezed at. The nearly nine-minute tool is characterized by the impulsive bass line, which is highlighted by atmospheric vocals.
OSLO 015
Damian Schwartz
Holloway
Damian Schwartz - now for quite some time a member of the Oslo family - is an artist whose name is now explained by itself. Already with the ep 'El Malo'
represented at Oslo, now he presents us the next hot disc 'Holloway'. Damian submitted us the same title to the ep on the a-side. It shows his amazing
10 minutes construction; his interpretation of modern sound in 2009 and the audience is caught by his percussive, groovy mood. It closes on the b-side
with 'El Rey' in a title with no less quality. This house track brings the party to its climax with his driving bass lines. 'El Rey' leaves nothing to be desired.
